My Philosophy
I want to reiterate that the photos we capture together are for you. These photos are meant for you to carry with you through life as a reminder of this season. So let go of any expectations, be fully present, and enjoy our time together! Our session is a safe space and nothing you do is wrong or awkward. Being yourself is the very best thing you can do to ensure that your photos are meaningful. I promise I’ll always do the same.
THE PROCESs
Choosing someone to capture your day takes a lot of trust. It is truly an honor to be trusted with such an important task. Trusting me allows me to fully lean into my creativity and pay attention to those small details that make your day so special. I want you to be able to relax, enjoy our time together, make memories, and trust that I will be turning it into art the whole time.
The only thing I ask of you is that you are honest with yourself and with me about what you are truly looking to get out of the photos, out of your session and out of our time together. I want you to have the session of your dreams, so really dig deep within and ask yourself what aspects are most important to you and why.
ALL LOVE IS WELCOME HERE. I support any and all love. Getting vulnerable in front of someone new AND a camera can be scary, but I promise I am already your biggest fan and will be cheering you on the entire time.
I am a true believer that if you feel called to something or someone there is a reason for it. If you connect to my work, if you feel drawn to me, we were meant to find each other. Connection
After you initially reach out we will figure out a date that works and get to planning. Where, when, what the timeline of the day will look like, what to wear, etc. I am happy to be as involved as you'd like with the planning process. Already got everything figured out? Sounds great! Tell me the plan and I'll be there in a heartbeat.
Planning
The day-of will look different for every couple. Embrace whatever the day brings. Don't stress. don't try and make it perfect, just live in the moment and FEEL IT ALL Every single day is a once-in-a-lifetime day filled with once-in-a-lifetime moments that you will never get back. Take it all in. I will be documenting it all.
Day Of
I will send you some sneak peeks a day or two after our session. This is a way for you to see what the rest of the gallery will look and feel like, and also gives you some images to obsess over for the next couple of weeks while I edit the rest! I will always do my best to get your photos back to you as soon as possible.
